In March 2021, the Saudi Bureau of Standards announced the new requirements for SASO IECEE RC certification through the social media platform: that is, from July 1, 2021, the following new products will be added to the mandatory certification list of SASO IECEE RC accreditation certificates:

The basic process of SASO IECEE RC certification:
1. The product has completed the CB test report and CB certificate;
2. Submit the test report and application materials (such as Arabic manual/Arabic label, etc.) in the SASO online certification system;
3. SASO reviews the documents in the system and issues certificates.
At present, there are 16 categories of products that have controlled SASO IECEE RC:

Reminder: The above remarks compulsory GCC and similar products need to complete GCC and IECEE RC certificates at the same time. Before importing all compulsory products into Saudi Arabia, the local importer also needs to log in to the Saber system to apply for a batch certificate (SCOC) for customs clearance.
